Meet Sue Borton, Our SEC math and science teacher.
- I have been at AMMS for 7 years and I am the Department chair over the SEC Dept.
- Prior to this I taught in Gwinnett County, 7th grade math, Forsyth County Nutrition and Wellness and before teaching I was a regional manager for Macy’s SE cosmetic department. I also have been an Account executive for Lancome Cosmetics and a cosmetic buyer for Elder Beerman in Dayton Ohio.
- I am a competitive wakesurfer. With Covid we haven’t travelled internationally recently but before Covid I was ranked 3rd in the world. Surf on!!
Meet Kimberly Brill, Our 6th and 7th Grade Reading Teacher.
- I’m an AMMS original and have been here for 19 years. I’ve taught every grade level and multiple contents.
I taught 5th grade at Sweet Apple Elementary and Creek View Elementary here in Fulton County. I also taught one year of 2nd grade in Austin, Texas. This is my 24th year in the classroom.
I enjoy reading and singing. I try to read at least 100 books per year, and I’ve been singing in a women’s A Capella group for 20 years.

Due to the ever-changing nature of this pandemic, the district will continue to monitor COVID data and recommendations, consult with public health officials, and make additional adjustments as necessary. If your child is sick, please keep them home. Families are still required to report a confirmed positive case of COVID-19, a pending COVID-19 test result (regardless of the reason for testing), and a direct contact with a person who is COVID-19 positive.
