Come to the Basketball game!
Watch as the Chicago Bulls and the L.A. Lakers dish it out!
This game will be once in life time, so come on down to the basketball court in Chicago, IL
On Saturday, May 4th, the L.A. Lakers and the Chicago Bulls are going to play an intense game of basketball. Basketball is a game where 2 teams try to get the basketball in their hoop, while defending the other hoop from the other team. Each hoop as a net coming down from it. Each hoop also has a backboard that players can bounce the ball off of. Every time a team gets the basketball into the basket, that team scores points. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. Players can dribble or pass the ball to the other side of the court. But, if you walk without dribbling when you have the ball, your team has to give the other team the ball. Every time you foul the other team, by means of shoving, rushing, etc., the other teams gets to take a foul shot. A foul shot is where the player who gets fouled, stands on the foul line and shoots the ball. Each foul shot the player makes is 1 point for your team. There are shots that equal 2 points and 3 points. A 2 point shot is where you shoot the ball from inside the 3 point line or if you dunk the ball. A 3 point shot is when you shoot from anywhere outside the 3 point line or "downtown." Hopefully, we will see you at the game!
