Senior Picture Makeup Day - Aug. 31

Location: Building 3 - Room 118

Times: By Appointment Only! (NO Walk-Ins!)

Notes from Lifetouch:

  • Appointments will be strict. No one will be photographed if they come any other time other than their own scheduled time. (No walk-ins)
  • You may bring only one family member to assist with proper garment placement. Lifetouch will practice "no-touch" posing and social distancing.
  • The Tux & Drape will be steamed/sanitized.
  • All employees will wear PPE.
  • This date is NOT for "Yearbook Only" appointments. Seniors wishing only to have a yearbook photo will have to wait until our yearbook photo date, November 13, 2020.
  • Prepay online. Use code 2DVQ to save $15 off the $40 sit fee.

PSAT - Juniors

The PSAT is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Middle College High School and is the qualifying test for entry to the 2021 National Merit Scholarship. Moreover, this is a great opportunity to take the test without paying a registration fee.

NOTE: Due to Covid-19 – we are working with PSAT, Durham Public Schools and Durham Tech Community College to determine if we can give this exam in person. We are trying to estimate interest only at this point. There are a limited number of slots available. If you are interested in taking the PSAT, please complete this GOOGLE FORM.

The Youth In Action Club is one of Middle College's longest standing and most active student organizations, committed to serving the needs of the community. In the past, we have spent time volunteering at local organizations such as the Scrap Exchange and Meals on Wheels. This year, we are taking our service online! Online volunteer options include writing letters to students around the world, competing in the Freerice game in order to fund the UN World Food Programme, and more! We will be hosting monthly meetings over Zoom, and any interested Middle College student can participate. Join us to make a difference and socialize with your peers!
