Mandatory (State Required) Compliance Training
1. Log in to HEB Curriculum
2. Click on Trainings
3. Go to Fall Compliance training
4. The Enrollment Key is heb123
5. Complete the trainings and test
6. Print your certificate
7. Turn your certificate in to Laurie Moss and sign the PD sign in sheet
You may do this on your own time, but it has to be completed by January 29th.
Web Site Checks
What do I do if I want/need to order something through the school?
2. Get a quote for the items.
3. Email Beth a description of the order, at least 7 days prior to the date the order needs to be made, including purpose and item numbers if applicable.
4. Beth will approve or deny based on budget etc. and CC Laurie Moss on the approval.
5. Laurie Moss will request the purchase order from accounting then submit the order.
This process is mandatory for purchases made by the school. Failure to follow this process, in order, may result in the person requesting items being responsible for the cost of the items. If PTA is purchasing the items, approval through Beth's office is still required. If it is curriculum money the team needs to be in agreement on the purchase.

If you would like to transfer your student within the district, the transfer window begins January 4, 2016 and ends February 29, 2016.

Tech Tip
The new link to get to TAC from home is http://www2.hebisd.edu/waplinks.
Choose Teacher Access Center.
You will enter your HEB username and password (just as you do for TAC at school).
After that authenticates, you will be asked to login to your TAC account again.
If you have not updated your link for TAC from home, please do so. Also, if you have issues with logging into TAC from home, please address those issues to your campus help account and give as much detail as possible.

Walking the Walls of a Classroom
Posting your learning objectives is a district requirement. These objectives may not change every day, but should always align to what Student Expectation (SE) is the main focus of your lesson. This sets a clear purpose for learning so students know what they can do by the end of the lesson.
Valerie Turney, David Rawls, Judy Willis, Dee Hunt, Karen Ahaus, Karenia Holloway, Julie Miller, Holly Riggs, Paula Anderson, Erica White, Terrilin Holz, Delana Clark, Elizabeth Toepfer, Stephanie Stevenson, Ginger Bihm, and Pam Bural!
Thank you to Valerie Sellers for a fabulous choir concert after the January 14th PTA meeting!
Mr. Rawls, we all appreciate you volunteering to be the alternate on the PTA Nominating Committee!
You Matter forms are in the teacher workroom. Recognize your peers on the wall in the lounge!
I know that you all observe staff members going above and beyond on a daily basis to support students, fellow staff members, and the overall success of Hurst Hills. Please send in Kudos as you see them so that staff can be recognized for the things they do from day to day that make a difference. I would also love to share personal celebrations! Email your recognitions to Beth by Friday to be added to the weekly notes! If Beth uses your submission or you are the subject of a celebration, stop by the office for a special treat!
