From the Principal...

It was a pleasure celebrating our campus Teacher of the Year and Employee of the Year at the Anna ISD School Board Meeting last night. Thank you again to Ms. Smith and Ms. Parker for all you do.

Our teachers and students are working hard to prepare for the Spring testing season. Please remember that STAAR testing is quickly approaching.

Our AMS Track teams are in full swing. Unfortunately this week's meet was cancelled but we will be back in action next week. Soccer season is quickly approaching.

It is hard to believe, but we are officially at the start of the final nine weeks of school. These last couple months will fly by. Lets make it a great ending to a great school year!

Go Coyotes!

Mr. Blanscet

A message from Chief Jones..

I want to bring this to your attention so that we as a school community can work together to stop violence in the schools. We are starting to see a few fights at the middle and high schools already this year. With that said if a student is involved in a fight at a school or within 300' from the school property lines, the student can receive both school discipline (which usually consists of a DAEP placement)and be arrested and/or referred to Anna Municipal Courts for disorderly conduct. This charge brings with it a fine of up to $500 and court-ordered mandates if found guilty. Thank you for your attention in the matter and let's work together to put a stop to school violence so that our students and staff will have a safe place for education. Also putting the fights on social media helps make the prosecution for these crimes much easier for us.
