The conditions on the Goldfields were horrible because there were usually fights , the Chinese people were treated with no respect, the goldfields were usually wet and muddy and many miners steal gold from other miners. But the British soldiers kidnaped the Aboriginals from their tribe. They were kidnaped because the Aboriginals were forced to work in the Goldfields.
