Vision and Mission

Vision We are the ones empowering students to perform with excellence.

Mission As a Hurst Hills Falcon, I will soar to excellence, by showing respect and responsibility, and challenging myself to reach my goals.

Thank you for a great year!

To our Wonderful Families,

I would like to take this time to let you know how much I appreciate your support of the students and staff of Hurst Hills Elementary. I have enjoyed the opportunity for another year to serve you and your children as principal of Hurst Hills. I am the luckiest principal, because Falcons truly pull together as a team to grow our children in amazing ways every day! Have a wonderful summer; and I look forward to seeing everyone at returning student registration on July 27 or August 2nd.

It is always a pleasure,

Beth Sanders, Principal

**Arrival and Dismissal Procedures Reminder for Redbud lot**

Please observe drop off and pick up procedures for safety!

It is important that, if you are dropping off your student in the Redbud lot, you observe the bus signs. Please stop and wait until the buses stop sign is off before passing a bus.

Please do not pull between buses in the Redbud lot. If you drop off in the Redbud lot at 7:15, for safety reasons, the buses need to unload in a specific area of the lot with no cars between them.

Dress Code

As the days become warmer, a reminder of specific dress code information is needed:

  • Clothing that exposes large areas of skin (see-through garments, cutouts or holes in jeans, slacks, dresses, skirts, tank tops, etc.) are not permitted

  • Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be worn no shorter than mid-thigh length

  • Biking shorts/tights are not to be worn, unless under shorts/skirts/dresses that are no shorter than mid-thigh length. Tunic-style shirts should be worn with leggings.

  • Parents may be called to bring a change of clothes to school if a student does not meet the dress code.

An Abundance of Food

North East Emergency Distribution (NEED) is a non-profit which helps people with food and electricity. They only help people in the HEB school district. They are located at 424 W Bedford Euless Rd.

At this time, they have an overabundance of food and would like to make sure all families know this is available if they need help. If you know of anyone in this area that needs help, please pass this information on.
