The entire linguafolio project will need to be submitted as part of your EOC project. , Please make your linguafolio submissions if overdue.

End of Japanese 1 Approaching!
We only have a total of 3 weeks left of class days in Japanese 1! With winter break approaching, now is the time to make your submissions.
Do not put off working on overdue work until Winter Break. You don't want to miss out on fun activities with family and friends because you have to work on school work, and it's better to do your assignments while I am still available to help you vs. away on winter break and not in the office.
Please go to the My Grades tab and see if you have assignments that are marked with 0s or have not been submitted yet from lessons 8 - 12. Go back and re-read your announcements if you are missing anything or need help completing a task.
せんせいのブログ - KATAKANA "FAILS"
Today's blog entry is a fun one that talks about katakana "fails" (when a word borrowed from English is used in Japanese in an incorrect context.) Some of them are really funny. Read about a few of em here: http://sarahboutin.tumblr.com/post/36875100632/more-awesome-katakana-fails
End of Course Projects
Please plan to work on your End of Course project this weekend as we are less than 2 weeks away from the due date!
For Section 1 - the About Me section, you will create a PowerPoint slideshow or other visual presentation using one of the tools listed above. This will include:
- A title slide with your name.
- An audio recorded response to the following list of items and questions below.
- All of your audio responses must also be typed in Japanese on its appropriate slide.
- A picture on each slide (16 slides = 16 pictures) that relates to your response.
If you have not done so already, please make slide #11 (What are your hobbies?) today. Be sure to include all 4 items listed above for this slide.
At this point you should be able to make most of the slides using the course material we've already learned. Let me know if you have questions or need help. Now is the time to ask questions!
Don't forget the Peer Tutoring Center!
