KP School Fall Fundraiser

KP, as a school runs two fundraisers, one in the fall and one in the spring. Our spring fundraiser supports our KP Cares focus to support families in need in the KP community. Our fall fundraiser supports field trip needs and the upgrading of our auditorium.

Last year KP raised close to $20, 000 and saw a profit of just over $9,000. We applied half of that to support scholarships for field trips/subsidize overall field trip costs and put half in our account to renovate the auditorium. We are hoping that you will support us once again this fall toward these efforts.

This morning, students met the Meadow Farms representative who discussed the fundraiser and the prizes they could win. Our goal is to make this a fun opportunity while supporting our school community. This, of course, is optional for students and families and we appreciate your consideration.

Students received packets with all of the product information. We apologize for the incorrect information in the fundraiser flyer --- The start date is October 14th and it ends on October 28th. Here is the corrected letter (click here).

To shop online or share with friends/family, please use this link to set up a student ID for your child to receive credit. The online school ID is 1032144.

For your child's safety, we do not encourage selling door-to-door without adult supervision. Thank you for your continued support.

Being Mindful While Parenting Sponsored by the West Hartford Libraries and Great by 8!

Being Mindful while Parenting is a free group being offered at the Noah Webster Library, 20 South Main Street. Parenting is more enjoyable when you are calm and have a basis for parenting decisions. Achieve this with mindful parenting. Parenting mindfully means parenting in the present moment, non-judgmentally, without the need to react. We all know that raising a family creates stress that can cause us to react without thinking.

With the practice of mindfulness and grounding guidelines for our parenting choices, we can reduce the stress and choose to respond thoughtfully. Come and join other parents who are interested in learning how to use mindfulness to their advantage and raise responsible adults. You and your family will benefit, and thank you, for taking this time for yourself.

Our meetings are held in the Noah Webster Library story room. You may attend just one or more as you wish. No registration required, come comfortable, ready to relax. You deserve it.
