Birth and Early Years

Carmelo Anthony was born on May 29, 1984 in Brooklyn New York. When he was 2 his father Carmelo died. Carmelo also played football and baseball. He was cut from his high school team as a freshman. He played Varsity as a freshman. In March of 2003 Syracuse won the championship. In the same year he was drafted to the Denver Nuggets. They wen't to the playoffs 7 years in a row.


He went to Thomson high school. Also he went to Tow son Catholic high school. He also went to Oak Hill academy. In 2003 Carmelo and his team became national champions. When he played collage ball for Syracuse he was #15.

Family and Hobbies

Carmelo had 2 brothers Robert, and Willford. He also had 2 sisters Michelle, and Daphine. His parents are Carmelo and Mary. His dad died when he was 2. His sister Michelle died when he was 6. He loved basketball and also liked football and baseball.


His career was playing basketball. When he was with the Denver Nuggets he and his team went to the playoffs 7 years in a row. From 2010 to 2011 he played for the New York Knicks. From 2012 to 2013 he was named NBA all star for the 6th time. Carmelo is still playing for the New York Knicks.


Carmelo's impact was being a pro basketball player. He also showed that if you work hard you can do anything. He was a hard worker. Though he didn't always have it easy he worked hard to get where he is today. Carmelo has many impacts.
