Dear Hoffman Families,
Happy New Year and welcome back to school! I hope everyone had a restful and renewing break! We are already back in the swing of things this week as if we never left! In January each year, we re-teach our behavior expectations, re-do our safety drills, and assess where we are with the students' learning at this midpoint. I am so excited to see the growth our students have already made in their academics and in their maturity and responsibility!
I'm looking forward to our first orchestra concert of the year, coming up, and to another long weekend this weekend. I hope you all enjoy it!
Take Care,
Selene

Kids Heart Challenge
Thanks for all you have done so far to help with communications for KHC- we REALLY appreciate it
As you know, at the American Heart Association, we have a goal to help 1.8 MILLION families learn Hands Only CPR through Kids Heart Challenge and Finn’s mission this year. With the NFL current events, it is on our hearts to do MORE to help more families learn these lifesaving skills!
We are doing a fun WEEKEND challenge to help BRING more awareness around the importance of learning Hands only CPR at your school. All you must do is send out the communication below THIS FRIDAY (January 13th) to let your school know how they can participate. I also attached a pdf if that is easier for you. If your school has 13 students FULLY complete Finn’s mission- we will send all the students a special *surprise*.
Thank you for forwarding this along to your families, let me know what questions you have!
