Field Trip on Wednesday

Students will need to bring a home lunch on Wednesday, March 21st. We will need to eat in our classroom before we leave for our Feed My Starving Children field trip. If you are not able to provide a home lunch, students will need to order a lunch on Tuesday.

Reminders from the organizer of Feed My Starving Children:

- Wearing clean, close-toed shoes is HIGHLY encouraged, and all jewelry must be removed and/or covered. Hairnets (provided) must be worn by anyone who handles food.

- Soy, rice, and a vegetable mix are the 3 ingredients used in packing, so if there are any *severe* allergies especially to soy, this might unfortunately be an outing to skip (soy dust in the air, etc.) However, for less severe allergies, students are always asked to use plastic gloves to pack, and can also choose other ways of participating than making the meals themselves (ex. making and taping the packing boxes, or labeling the plastic meal bags before they get filled)!
