Aloha Helping Medically Fragile Kids for 14 Years

Aloha Sunshine!

In preparation for their final performance, we'd like the Aloha High School Band to experience the professional potential of their talents by seeing the Oregon Symphony perform in real life - an incredibly exciting and educational experience!
Thank you for making our dreams come true!
The Aloha Band is going to the Portland Symphony thanks to your generosity! The experience of seeing professional musicians playing "their" same instruments will be inspiring and transformative to their understanding and performances.
See the video below to hear why our students want to go to the symphony.

Multicultural Soccer need your help
Help Aloha High School students strengthen social and community values and build self-esteem by supporting student participation in our region’s most successful and significant Multicultural Soccer League.
This year we have three teams that hope to participate and the registration cost for each one is $650. This is a significant amount just for registration and a steep barrier for most students who want to participate.
The area’s Multicultural League has been very successful in involving a diverse group of students and their families. For a group comprised of predominantly so-called “minority” students (Latino, Asian, and Eastern European), an opportunity like this goes a long way in developing a sense of worth and pride in accomplishments earned through hard work.
I have worked in this extracurricular activity for over 13 years and have seen the positive impact on youth. Every year I am so sad to see how young people want to participate in this event, but lack of financial resources prevents them from participating. I would like to ask for economic help, whatever you can offer, for registrations, uniforms and practice equipment.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely, Enrique Abad
