A Note from Nurse Laura
A positive outcome during these last couple years was that there was hardly any lice going around. Well, life is pretty much back to normal and lice is making a comeback.
It is a good idea to check your child’s head for lice on a weekly basis. Good lighting is the key to finding those pesky bugs. If you think your child may have lice and would like another set of eyes to look, let me know. I will follow up with your child and let you know what I do or do not see.
The District’s website has some great resources and information about lice https://kpbsd.org/departments/assistant-superintendent/instructional-services/health-services/basic-facts-about-head-lice/.
