Fighter jets in action
F-22 vs. F-16
F-22
The Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor is a single-seat, twin-engine, all weather stealth tactical fighter aircraft made for the U.S. Air Force. The aircraft was designed as an air fighter, but has other capabilities including ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence roles. (It has lots of weapons and roles!) When in combat these jets can do a lot of damage to the enemy.
F-16
The Fighting Falcon has key features including a frameless bubble canopy so the pilot can can see more, a side-mounted control stick to ease control while maneuvering, a seat reclined 30 degrees to reduce the effect of g-forces on the pilot while flying, and the first use of a relaxed static stability. The F-16 has an internal M61 Vulcan cannon and 11 locations for mounting weapons and other mission equipment. (It also has lots of weapons and can do a lot of damage.)
What do these jets have in common?
These airplanes both were created for defense and attack. They have weapons and other defenses that other war jets do not have because these are supposed to be one of the main weapons and are super stealthy and aerodynamic. Also these jets were designed and built by Lockheed Martin, but some of the parts were built at Boeing (another company that builds airplanes). Both these jets are great weapons for attacking and spying because of the better materials in them. These materials make it extremely hard to find on radar because it absorbs the signal so it makes it almost invisible to other people in the sky or on the ground scanning with radar locators.

It's Your Flight
Both, I think, are great weapons for air forces and attack, but I think the F-22 is a little better because it is made of newer material, more weapons, improved computer systems, better stealth, and radar scanners. Make your opinion after you've watched the videos and played the simulator!
