Christmas
by Druhinh and Sunayna
Christmas isn’t all about gifts, Christmas is also about giving and spending the holidays together. During Christmas you can do lots of fun stuff, like in some places sledding or skiing. There are also lots of Christmas carols like “Deck the Halls” and “Jingle Bells”. You can also get an artificial or real Christmas tree and put all sorts of stockings and ornaments on the Christmas tree.
Did you know that Christmas is celebrated around the world, but in different ways?
In China they decorate the trees with colorful ornaments. The ornaments are made of paper and they are shaped like flowers and lanterns. They call Santa Dun Che Lao Ren which means Christmas Old Man. The trees that they decorate are called Trees of Light.
There is also is a Santa route map. You can actually track Santa! So go out there and have some fun!

Winter is a wonderful time of year. There are many things to do: skiing, building snowmen, ice skating on frozen water, and lots more! Winter is also fun because it is when we don’t have any school . We could also visit family and friends or go somewhere. The last thing why winter is wonderful is that it is Christmas! When it is Christmas,we get presents, hot cocoa, and cookies.
