### Week Nine: October 19 ~ October 23

## Reminders

- Join REMIND!!! Text @advprecalc to 81010--> Download the app to your smartphone

- Follow Mrs. Naylor on her website: http://tinyurl.com/fhsnaylor --> Class notes and homework assignments are posted DAILY!!!

- Online Assignments at Math XL For School are due every Thursday morning at 7am

- Peer Tutoring Available Tuesday/Thursday in the Media Center after school

## MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2015

Ohio Learning Standard(s): F-IF-7e, F-IF-8, F-BF-4a, F-LE-4, A-CED-2

I CAN: Graph exponential and logarithmic functions, showing intercepts and end behavior.

I CAN: Write a function defined by an expression in different but equivalent forms to reveal and explain different properties of the function.

I CAN: Solve an equation of the form f(x) = c for a simple function f that has an inverse and write an expression for the inverse.

I CAN: For exponential models, express as a logarithm the solution to *abct* = *d* where *a*, *c*, and *d* are numbers and the base *b* is 2, 10, or *e*; evaluate the logarithm using technology.

I CAN: Create equations in two or more variables to represent relationships between quantities; graph equations on coordinate axes with labels and scales.

Assignment ~

- Do p423 Mid-Chapter Check Point
- Quiz Tuesday
- Math XL For School: Spiral #8 due Thursday, 7am
