CEC Handbook Policies in Action

Welcome back, Eagles!

Happy New Year!! Hopefully you enjoyed a restful Christmas break and are feeling refreshed and ready to get back into the swing of things. As we return to school, here are a few important reminders regarding CEC policies:

  • Earbuds are NOT permitted in the hallways between the hours of 7:30 am - 2:10 pm!! Earbuds will be confiscated if seen by any faculty or staff member.
  • Cell phones may be used in the cafeteria ONLY between the hours of 7:30 am - 2:10 pm. Cell phones may NOT be used at any time in the hallways during regular school hours. They may be confiscated and returned at a later time, at the discretion of the teacher/moderator/administrator/staff member.
  • **Note: Unless your teacher or proctor explicitly says the use of cell phones and/or earbuds is permitted during any designated class period, neither should be seen during class, under any circumstance. However, if your teacher allows use of either cell phones and/or earbuds for a lesson, both must be fully put away (out of sight!) at the end of the class period, before you exit the classroom.**
  • Hoodies (even with the CEC logo) are NOT part of the CEC uniform. If you are wearing a hoodie or other non-regulation item, it may be confiscated and demerits will be issued. There is no guarantee the item will be returned.

Thank you for your attention to these important details. Looking forward to a great rest of the school year with you all.

Uniform Update Effective Wednesday, January 3, 2018:

CEC students may wear the CEC 1/4 zip pullover instead of or in addition to the CEC blazer. The blazer will no longer be a required part of the daily winter uniform.

This change comes from the understanding that the 1/4 zip pullover, which was added due to feedback that the blazer did not provide a great level of warmth, may not fit comfortably when worn underneath of the blazer. For that reason, please feel free to wear either (or both!).

Christmas Concert and Festival

Please note - Due to last week's snow storm, the date for the CEC Christmas Concert, Festival and Bonfire has been changed to Thursday, December 21st. See you then!!

First Annual Trunk-or-Treat at CEC!

Monday, Oct. 30th 2017 at 5:30-7:30pm

611 Wistar Road

Fairless Hills, PA

What is Trunk or Treat?

Conwell-Egan Catholic High School is proud

to sponsor this new event!!

Trunk-or-Treat is a great way for kids to trick-or-treat

with all their school friends in a safe and fun environment.

Faculty, Staff, high school students and other adults members of the community decorate their cars and hand out treats from their trunks. Kids dress in their Halloween costumes and go from car to car collecting candy while enjoying your creativity.

You can decorate your trunk anyway that you like. Pinterest is full of ideas. Get creative! If you are not the creative sort, just come out to see the kids in their costumes and give out candy. There will a prize for the best decorated car!

Conwell-Egan students are more than welcome to trick-or-treat even if they are not decorating a trunk. Keep in mind we need families to decorate their trunks

to make this a special event for the children of our community!

An email will be sent the week before the event to give everyone an idea of how many kids will be attending so you can plan how much candy to bring.

Schedule for Trunk or Treat
