School Uniforms
a way to better our schools
Introduction
Many more communities are adopting the new idea of school uniforms. The futures of our peers will be bright. Some may say that the addition of uniforms put a financial burden on other families, now that teens are wearing uniforms they will learn to soon become respectable young adults, and when a child wears a Uniform it assures the student a safer environment. Dress codes do not help the problem of miss-dressed students, it only escalates it. Uniforms help stop the problem all together. Uniforms help stop violence, teach kids good morals, relieve stress levels, and all together shape a beautiful community
Claim
Body 1
The opponents of uniforms argue that they take away the freedom of the students wearing them. Though uniforms only have to be worn for a few hours of that school day, this does not take away the out of school freedom of the student. Others argue that uniforms will put a financial burden on the families. Though uniforms are fairly expensive, they balance out with the amount of money you would pay trying to find the perfect outfit for the first day of school etc. It also depends on what type of uniform your school wants and how expensive they are going to make them. Lastly, uniforms help you find a peace of mind. When a child wears a uniform it relieves stress on a whole different level. The students will not only have to worry about getting distracted, having their grades slip, or worrying about planning their outfit for the morning, allowing them to get a well deserved rest. Parents will also not have to worry about buying their children new cloths every second and all together put a hole in their bank. Uniforms all together help us form a more safe community.
