Weekly Update

Holy Trinity Catholic School September 16th, 2021

Prayer to Our Lady of Fatima

O Most Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of the most holy Rosary, you were pleased to appear to the children of Fatima and reveal a glorious message. We implore you, inspire in our hearts a fervent love for the recitation of the Rosary. By meditating on the mysteries of the redemption that are recalled therein may we obtain the graces and virtues that we ask, through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.

Our Lady of Fatima

On Tuesday afternoon students spent time in church learning about the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima. They had a talk about the statue and we prayed the rosary together.

A Note from Mrs. Longden

We are getting into the swing of things associated with school. These last few weeks we have been working on learning our procedures and following rules. As a Catholic School, we want to be seen as a place where people can bond in many ways. We want to continue to endorse a family environment where everyone feels a part and shares in the success of helping the school run smoothly. We encourage participation in the school as much as possible in appropriate ways.

One thing we want to rebuild this year is our sense of "family" which has been reduced in many ways due to Covid. We have students in larger cohorts having recess and lunch together and some classes mixed for specials. We have joined the community in church on Friday mornings. We are also having a Family Social/Curriculum Night that we encourage all families to attend to learn more about grading and standards for your children. We would really encourage new families to get involved in our events, committees, and fundraisers. We will begin looking at having volunteers back into the school once we have settled things and we feel it is safe to do so.

Our ultimate connection is that which we share with each other in God, the creator and Father of us all. We join daily in prayer with each other. Please continue to pray each day for the school, the staff, and especially the students.
