Geting Involved
- In 1923, he started to study at the Arts Students League in New York.
- That was when he spent two weeks in the spring sketching scenes at the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus in 1925
- Calder had began experimenting with a large scale wire sculpture, many of these sculptures where three-dimensional. These sculptures brought a big interest into his carrier.
