7th and 8th grade Language Arts

October-Bullying Prevention Month

October surely came in quick, and at East Noble Middle School, students are participating in Bullying Prevention Month. On Monday, students wore blue to support "Stomp Out Bullying". A "Positive Pep Rally" is set for the end of the month. Be sure to ask your child about all of the great things happening at East Noble Middle School!

Here are some things happening in the classes:

7th grade

Currently 7th graders are working on vocabulary journal 8, and are finished with chapter 4. We will be working on questions about chapter 4, as well as formulating our own classroom reaping, that will deal with percentages and the "odds" of being drawn. Incorporating MATH with LANGUAGE ARTS :)

8th grade

8th grade honors students have completed their tetrahedron project, and are now on the move throughout the 5th part of the book. A BIG PLOT TWIST occurs in this section of the book. Talk with your son or daughter, about the story and what the plot twist is, and even about WHAT A plot twist is!

8th grade language arts are currently working on their tetrahedron projects, and will surely be catching up with the honors classes with the big plot twist in part 5 soon.
