UNIFIED SPORTS
Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.
D.L. Beckwith Middle school is part of the Massasoit Leagues Unified Sports program, and this year we have the opportunity to become an independent sport. We will be following the same rules for our other sports teams. Permission forms, physicals, user fees and other forms will be required to participate. We will be playing bocce, basketball and bowling/track and field during the three sports seasons, fall, winter and spring.
Please use this link to sign your child up to participate. Please contact Mrs. Jerauld if you have any questions. (Cjerauld@drregional.org)

WEATHER ALERTS REMINDER
This is a reminder the Dighton Rehoboth schools will use the Apptegy alerts system for weather-related messages. It is not our plan to use local media outlets. All messages will be sent through Apptegy via text, RoboCall, and email. Apptegy uses the contact information in Aspen. To modify your contact information, please contact the Main Office.

JANUARY LUNCH MENU
Please remind your children that BREAKFAST is also FREE!
They can grab a breakfast on their way to homeroom!
MYSCHOOLBUCKS INFORMATION
Account payments can be made through MySchoolBucks.com using a debit/credit card or checks at all cafeteria registers. Please make checks payable to “Dighton Rehoboth Regional School District” and include your student’s full name in the memo line.
School meals, both breakfast and lunch, are once again free (see below); however, all students must use the point of sale system to obtain a free lunch. Please encourage your child to remember their lunch pin number because it helps to move along the lunch lines. If a student forgets their pin, then the cafeteria workers need to look it up and this stalls the lunch line.
Students will need to pay for snacks not included with the free meal and this is the reason why a parent would want to put money on their child's account.
