Iowa state law requires students entering 12th grade to provide proof of having the meningococcal vaccine before school begins on August 24, 2023 - unless the student has a certificate of immunization exemption. Now is a great time to schedule an appointment to beat the back-to-school rush. Immunizations are available at your physician’s office or the Scott County Heath Department.
Please submit your student’s proof of vaccine to the NSHS health office. If you have questions, contact Jenna Dexter, HS Nurse, at 563-285-3217 or jenna.dexter@north-scott.k12.ia.us. Thank you.
