We celebrated Safety week last week. It was great to practice all of our drills in case of an emergency. Our students were all very attentive during the practices. There are a few pictures to show off all of the good work!

We are looking forward to meeting all of the parents virtually for parent teacher conferences this week. If you would like to schedule a conference to speak with me, please email and I will set up a google meet with you.

Teacher Spotlight: Mr. Anthony Santillo

Meet Our Staff

Every week we will shine a spotlight on one of our own amazing staff members. Meet Mr. Anthony Santillo. Mr. Santillo is our Special Education Resource Teacher.

How long have you been teaching?

I have been teaching 5 years. Prior to coming to Hometown, I was a 5th grade resource teacher and a high school special education teacher.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

If I could travel anywhere in the world I would travel to Italy. I have family living overseas and my grandparents were born there as well. I would like to visit their hometown.

What is the best thing about working at Hometown?

The best thing about working at Hometown is the staff. Ever since arriving the staff has been nothing but wonderful to work with. They are so welcoming and dedicated to their students.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is pizza. I can eat pizza for every meal and never get tired of it.

Who do you admire and why?

I admire my grandparents. They are in the late 80’s and are still living life to the fullest through travel and work. When I am there age I would like to have their youthful energy.

If you see Mr. Santillo around our school make sure you say hello!!!
