Sierra Family Newsletter September 4, 2020

Hello, Sierra Families!

I continue to be so impressed by the resilience you and your sharks are showing through Distance Learning or through the virtual learning program through Sierra @ RVC, and I love when you share your success stories and photos of how you're finding ways to make the best of it. We know that bringing school into your household can be a tremendous challenge, some days more than others, and we appreciate the dialogue you start when you reach out to your teachers to share the challenges, so that we can work through those with you and help you through it, the best we can.

If you missed the latest RUSD Board Meeting on Wednesday night, I encourage you to watch the recording, linked here. It contains some new information about the potential for reopening RUSD schools.

Finally, mark your calendars, as I hope to see you at our first virtual PTC meeting for the 20-21 school year this coming Wednesday night at 6:00. For new Sierra families, our fantastic PTC board would love to meet you virtually and welcome you to the Sierra PTC! Please see the Zoom meeting link below in the "PTC Corner" section.

Big shark fin hugs to you all!

Your adoring principal,

Amy Westberg
