Coachella's Panic! Worthy Show
Bethany McCormick
This past weekend kicked off what many have dubbed “The beginning of summer music festivals”. That’s right Coachella’s first weekend is already over, but not without stirring up the music world. There were a lot of high profiled appearances in just the first weekend like AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Ke$ha and Zedd, but one performance in particular excited the Pop Punk world.
Halsey & Brendon Urie Coachella 2016
Warning: Mild Language
Halsey with hair brighter than my future.
A fan girl's dream
Brendon Urie writing what is most likely another song about former band member Ryan Ross.
Brendon Urie covering New Americana by Halsey
20 year old breakout singer Halsey was in the middle of singing her hit song “New Americana” when she surprised the audience with none other than Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco. While onstage Halsey stated this was the band that influenced her entire career starting at 11 years old! However this isn’t the first time the two have interacted. They regularly tweet each other and last year during one of Urie’s Periscopes he covered “New Americana” on piano. This friendship gives fans everywhere a ray of hope that one day they too can meet their idols and maybe even perform with them.
