NO! to Storage Facility in Keller!
We need QUALITY Development!
Keller Planning and Zoning Meeting is MONDAY September 28, 2015
The Keller Planning and Zoning Commission is voting on ANOTHER Self Storage Facility!
It will be located on Davis at the end of Bear Creek. There is already one there, and several in the area.
Keller wants, needs and DESERVES quality development and if we allow more self storage places to be built on the last prime land we have, we will forever affect out property values and desirability. Other cities around us, like Southlake, will not allow any more of these kinds of facilities, no matter how "high quality" the developer says it is.
Those in Hidden Lakes, Lyndhurst, Creekview , The Sanctuary, Creek and other subdivisions along Davis will suffer the most!
The developer has indicated that the Creekiew residents have approved this facility BUT that is a new subdivision with very few residents, and many open lots.
Originally, this land was proposed to be high quality retail or commercial and that is something we need to demand.
Storage facilities DO NOT enhance your property values...but they do negatively affect them!
PLEASE send opposition emails to dhawkins@cityofkeller.com; before the meeting on Monday. Additionally, please come to the meeting and have your voice heard.
IT WILL PASS WITHOUT COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND OPPOSITION.
If it passes, it must come before city council to be ratified.

Commissioner's briefing is at 6:00pm, open meeting starts at 7:00.
