*Bulldog Spotlight* Giving Thanks

While this year's season of giving may look different than we are used to, we want to highlight how gratitude comes in many different shapes and sizes. This month, set an intention to ask your child: what do you feel thankful for right now?

Their might surprise you! Is it the fact that they have had more quality family time over these past long months? Or maybe they are proud of an accomplishment they made in school this year? Send their answer and a photo of their smiling face (feel free to get creative here to incorporate the theme of gratitude) to Mrs. Smith at jsmith@northwoodcs.org. The most stand-out submissions will be featured in the Bulldog Blast sent out during the last week of November.

The Free Library *Parent Share*

Thank you for this community resource share from 2nd/8th grade parent, Mrs. Melone!:

"The Northeast Regional Library (freelibrary.org) is allowing people to request books by phone and then pick them up. You might want to check the website for the location nearest to you, as there are so many and they all offer different things. Each has specific hours that you may have to call to find out more information. My kids and I were very happy to be able to finally get books yesterday!"

There is also a large selection of virtual programming for every age group, which can be found at this link: Browse The Free Library's Virtual Programming

If you have community resources that you would to share with Northwood families, please email Mrs. Smith at jsmith@northwoodcs.org.
