- More than $81.8 million in college scholarships
- Over 1,290 professional certifications earned by seniors in high-wage industries including Health Science, Computer Science, Automotive, Welding, Culinary Arts, Digital Design, Architecture, Construction Science and more
- 89 associate’s degrees awarded at no cost to Alief ISD high school students
- Over 14,000 dual college credit hours earned at no cost to Alief ISD high school students

Houston Westchase Rotary Club Scholarships
Chris Hardeman Scholarship
Hastings High School student Leonardo Foullon was awarded welding scholarships.
Four Alief ISD CTE Architecture students were awarded scholarships for their outstanding achievements.
Killough Middle School awarded six scholarships to former students.
Quynh Do (Kerr), Kathy Nguyen (Kerr), My Thai (AECHS) and Yuridia Borja (AECHS) were each awarded $500 scholarships, and Andrea Nguyen (Taylor) and Michael Onwutalu (Elsik) were awarded $250 scholarships.
The Alief Kerr High School Chapter of FBLA was one of only five chapters in Texas to earn the distinction of Champion Chapter Gold through the FBLA-PBL Champion Charter Program.
It is the highest achievement through the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)'s Champion Chapter Program. The Kerr chapter of FBLA earned this honor through membership engagement-focused challenges.
UIL State Results
In the state conference, Elsik High School student Oluwadara Adebanjo placed second in Prose Interpretation, while the Kerr High School Accounting Team placed third.
Elsik High School valedictorian Yassin Mabizari was interviewed on KPRC's Houston Life.
Alief ISD CTE Information Technology students earned CompTIA certifications.
The TX-947 Elsik High School Air Force JROTC received its first Distinguished Unit Award with Merit.
The recognition is the highest unit award based on overall unit accomplishment during an HQ inspection year.

Mahanay Elementary School's Girls on the Run and Boys on the Right Track Teams recently completed a 5K at Rice University.
Juliet Meade, the director from Boys on the Right Track, flew in from New York to join the students during the 5K. Mahanay is only one of two schools in the greater Houston area representing Boys on the Right Track.
Hastings High School teacher Corey Brotherton was elected to serve on the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Board.
