Principal's Message
Hello SES Families,
It has been so wonderful having students back in the building. I love seeing the excitement and the energy that is in the building. Students and staff are thrilled to finally see one another in person. I want to thank all of you for attending your child's spring conference last week. This is a wonderful time for teachers to connect with families.
We are continuing to develop our plan for summer school. Unfortunately we can not offer summer school to all students. We will be prioritizing students who are significantly behind in reading. Out of those students, we are currently surveying parents to see who is interested. Once we have determined interest we will finalize our plan and send out more details to those families selected.
Thank you,
Mrs. Moore, Principal

Update on State Testing
All North Santiam students will be excused from State Testing this year.
Our NSSD School Board made the recommendation to NOT require state assessments this year to maximize the amount of learning time we have for our students and to maintain the Districts' focus on care and connection with our students in this extraordinary year.
However, the Oregon Department of Education requires our district to provide an opportunity for students to participate in testing IF THEY DESIRE. Tests cannot be taken remotely, students must come to their school building to test. If you want your child to participate in state testing, please fill out this form for EACH CHILD INDIVIDUALLY. Your school will be in touch to inform you of the testing date.
