The Concilio is graduating parents who participated in the Parents As Leaders (PAL) 30-week program. Parents were able to continue with the program during the pandemic through online meetings. Parents will be celebrated on Thursday, June 11th at 1:00 PM with a parade around Carroll Peak Elementary School.

The PAL program sets the stage for children’s academic success by providing parents with children ages 0-5 with the information, resources, and training needed to foster children's early literacy and reading abilities. PAL is a 30-week program for parents to learn in weekly group sessions how to teach their children new vocabulary, motor skills, social and emotional skills, numeracy, literacy, and more. The program helps parents to become effective partners with the school and the community throughout their children's academic careers.
