New Opportunity for 10th Graders - Middle College High School
Poway Unified School District has some exciting news for the class of 2024! In August of 2022, PUSD in collaboration with Palomar Community College will be opening Poway to Palomar Middle College High School (PPMC). PPMC will be located on the Rancho Bernardo Palomar College campus and is now accepting applications from the class of 2024.
PPMC’s mission is to provide students a world class learning environment to experience both high school and college classes leading to career and life readiness. Students will have the opportunity to take high school and college classes as well as participate in internships throughout the school year.
All class of 2024 students may apply. Students with GPAs of 2.0-2.9 will make up approximately 80% of the inaugural student body. The other 20% of the students will be those with GPA’s equal to or above 3.0. Our goal is to enroll 80-100 students. Small class sizes, personalized support, and relevant curriculum is the backbone to the success of middle college students.
Applications will be accepted from February 28-March 21 by clicking on the link below. We will be hosting a Parent Information Night via Zoom; stay tuned for more information on Date, Time and Link.
