Memorial Day Rehearsals (FULL MARCHING BAND)

Memorial Day is fast approaching! Please note our full marching band (instrumentalists & guard) will rehearse on the following dates to prepare for our Memorial Day parade.

All rehearsals will be from 3:00 - 5:00pm. Please note, both 5/16 & 5/18 are virtual, asynchronous days. Students will need to find rides to EAHS for rehearsals.

Saturday Night Swing - Saturday, May 13

Come out to hear our EAHS jazz band one final time before we depart for Germany! You won't want to miss this event!

WHAT: Saturday Night Swing - a casual night where we transform our rehearsal room into a restaurant atmosphere, complete with hors d'oeuvres & mocktails.

WHEN: Saturday, May 13; 7:00pm (doors open 6:30pm)

COST: $16/ person (includes food, drinks, & entertainment)

EAHS Graduation Band Rehearsal

The marching band (instrumentalists only) will be performing at graduation again this year. Please see below for preliminary information.

DATE: Tuesday, June 06 (rain date: Wednesday, June 07)

TIME: 6:00pm (report time: 4:00pm @ Cottingham)

REHEARSAL: Monday, June 05 (12:00 - 2:00pm @ EAHS instrumental room)

* Seniors attend from 12:00 - 1:00pm; grades 9 - 11 attend from 12:00 - 2:00pm

ATTIRE: Red band jacket; black uniform pants, long black socks; white band shoes

2023 Percussion Clinic Information

Our annual percussion clinic will take place on June 15 - 16, 2023. This clinic is mandatory for all percussionists for the 2023 - 2024 school year.

Please note, an official list of 2023 - 2024 dates will be sent out towards the end of this school year.

'23 Florida Tour Information

Online Trip Registration (Music Travel)

Any student who will be traveling to Disney in December must register ONLINE with our travel company by FRIDAY, MAY 19. This information will be used to generate a database for plane tickets and eventually allow students to select rooming lists, bus lists, & also allows families to purchase the optional trip insurance.

To register, please follow these instructions here.

A few items of note:

  1. Make sure to list student FULL NAME as it appears on their license or government ID. Students under 18 must list their full name, but do not need an ID.
  2. An email address is needed. This CANNOT be a roverkids account.
  3. Contributions will still be made through the IMA. The ONLY payment you as a family will NOT make to the IMA is the optional trip insurance.

Disney May Contribution Reminder

This is a reminder the next contribution for the '23 Disney Tour is due May 31. The contribution amount is $375.

There are two options to make this contribution:

  1. Online
  2. Check/ Money Order made out to IMA (on memo line, write: child's name - Disney). These can be placed in the IMA lockbox OR mailed to:

Easton Area High School Instrumental Music

The Easton Area High School (EAHS) Instrumental Music Program has a long history of success. The program consists of nearly 380 students in grades 9 – 12 and encompasses marching band, three concert bands, three orchestras, two jazz ensembles, pep band, and pit orchestra.
