Teaching Construct 2.2: Innovative Applications of Content Knowledge
One of the best ways to meet the needs of 21st Century Learners and allow for innovative applications of Content Knowledge that will meet the needs of all of your students, is Project Based Learning (PBL). PBL is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an engaging and complex question, problem or challenge. These types of learning experiences allow for student voice and choice, authenticity, reflection, and TONS of learning. Check out a basic overview of PBL with the video below!
