The Daintree rainforest has a lot of important natural features like plants,trees and flowers.Some plants are called Burrawang Palm, Wait-a-while vine and the Stinging Tree.

The Daintree Rainforest is special for its cultural events.These include cultural massages,excursions and aboriginal events including special dances, storytelling and local Dreamtime legends.



Man made features

The Daintree Rainforest is famous for its many man made features.Some of them are restaurants,hotels,motels,bridges and walkways.


Climate and weather

The Daintree Rainforest is famous for its climate. Did you know that it rains 120 days a year? Mostly the weather is a cool temperature.Some days are very hot.The climate is tropical all year with maximum temp of 32 digress C in the summer and 25 digress C in the winter.The weather in the Daintree is like Tahiti.Tourists enjoy the weather of the Daintree Rainforest all year round.
