National Honor Society
NHS: For their Spring Service Project NHS will be collecting items for the Bags for the Brave campaign. Please send in travel size toiletries/personal items by May 15th.
Yearbook
All yearbook sales are finished for the 2018-19 school year! If you did not get a chance to order your yearbook, there will be a limited number available which can be purchased at the Yearbook Distribution party on May 17. Yearbooks will be $35 and can be purchased at the party!

English
English II Honors: This week, students are finishing up their novel study of F. Scott Fitzgerald 's The Great Gatsby. Students will also continue reviewing and prepping for EOC Testing. They will present their Gatsby Party Plans on Wednesday May 8. Final drafts of Senior papers are due Monday May 6. Portfolios are due Friday, May 10.
English IV Honors: Students completed their final unit study for English IV and their APA culminating research project was due on Friday May 3. They will begin reviewing for the final next week. Portfolios are due Friday, May 10.
Math
M3 - Students have a Unit 2 Review to complete on deltamath.com. It is due Monday morning at 9:30am. On Tuesday students will be on a field trip to ECU. There will be a test on Unit 6 - Statistics on Thursday. Students will be working in small groups in the afternoons as well to prepare for the exam.
M4 - Students in Mrs. Walsh's class will take a quiz covering 8-1 -8-3 on Tuesday. Both Math 4 classes will cover Chapter 9 - Conics the rest of the week.
Science

Social Studies
APWH: We started AP EXAM REVIEW with periods 1 &2. Wednesday & Thursday students were given APWH class time to study for their Friday’s APES final test & Monday’s APES EXAM. Next week we will continue reviewing for our exam. Multiple resources have been posted in TEAMS.
AH-1: We completed the Civil War unit by watching the movie “Glory” & completing a corresponding assignment. Students were given class time Thursday & Friday to review for their APES EXAM on Monday. Next week we will finish the AH-1 curriculum by studying Civil War Reconstruction.
Civics and Econ Honors: This week, we will finish our study of Macroeconomics and then we will begin reviewing for the NCFE. We are almost at the end!
Final exam resources have been posted on Teams. Please encourage your students to study a little bit each night, rather than cramming at the end of the course. The North Carolina Final Exam is worth 25% of their grade!
