VANWAGNEN NEWS

I would like to thank our local Kiwanis organization and the K-Kids for their hard work with the Mott's Children's Baby Shower. With the leadership of Kiwanis Organization, our students were able to encourage the community to donate new toys, gift cards, and crafts.

The Child and Family Life Team at Mott's visited CUES to receive the gifts and share information about their role at the hospital. The team is trained in reducing the stress and anxiety of their patients during their stay. They work with doctors and nurses to meet the emotional, developmental and cultural needs of every patient.

I am so grateful to our Kiwanis clubs at CES, CUES and CCHS for taking an active role in making such a meaningful donation to this wonderful organization. Congratulations to Mrs. Dickens 3rd grade class for winning the classroom competition by donating the most items for the collection.

TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

We are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week. Please join me in honoring the amazing staff we have at CUES. Our teachers are caring, dedicated and enthusiastic about learning. They create a positive environment for our students while encouraging them to grow and make it so that every day is a great day to be a Golden Eagle! It is an honor and a privilege to work beside so many great individuals. I am so grateful for each of them!
