Message from the Principal
The weather this month sure continues to throw us some curveballs! We've had some gorgeous days filled with sunshine and warmer temperatures and this weekend we got snow! Our family made the best of it and spent some time playing outside in the snow but we're sure hoping April brings more days filled with sunshine! Please take a few minutes to check out the information shared in this week's newsletter and join us in celebrating our PRIDE student winners for this week!
Each time a student receives a PRIDE Shoutout, they put a ticket into their grade level bucket. Each Friday, we announce one winner from each grade level and they get to choose their prize. Last week students could choose to sit in the Principal's chair for the day, to have lunch with a staff member or a homework pass. Anna, a third grader in Mrs. Marlow's class, chose lunch with Mrs. Harrell! Our student enjoy this recognition and getting to choose their prize.
If you have a students in third, fourth or fifth grade, please make sure to write their spring testing dates on your calendars! It is important that students get a good night's sleep, eat a filling breakfast and arrive to school on time. Testing will begin promptly at 9:30 am. This week our fifth graders will take their science test on March 30 (Wednesday) and 31 (Thursday).
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
