Request for student vaccination status

In order to help us streamline the facilitation of modified quarantines for our students, we are providing an option to share your student's vaccination status with USD. With this information, we will be able to provide tailored communication throughout the school year regarding COVID-19 information. Also, vaccinated students are able to bypass any modified quarantine and are eligible to participate in school-related and community-related extra curricular activities. Student vaccination status will be entered into our student information system, Power School, which is our secured student data platform.

Please complete this form to help us streamline our testing services and provide you with communication specific to your child.

If you have already shared proof of your child's vaccination status (Both Vaccinations) to someone at Dartmouth, please disregard this request.

Big picture

Student Body Fundraiser

The Dartmouth Student Body Fundraiser is underway. Please help us continue our student lunchtime activities, student council, WEB orientation programs by participating. This brief video explains how the fundraiser works.

Our students and staff appreciate all of your support.

The Dartmouth Band blends creativity with resilience

Mr. Pwu and the Dartmouth Band have found solutions to every challenge brought their way. Face masks with instrument mouthpiece openings have allowed our students to practice and perform while staying within our health guidelines. This freedom combined with our new outdoor band space has provided Mr. Pwu's superstars with a roadmap for success. Their beautiful sounds can be heard throughout campus and out onto Blossom Hill Road creating new opportunities for music appreciation. Way to go Mr. Pwu!

Social Emotional Learning at Dartmouth

We want your child to be successful in school, and that means supporting and encouraging their whole development. While excelling in academic classes is important, students also need skills for learning challenges, making good decisions, handling strong emotions, and getting along with others.

This week, we'll begin Second Step Middle School, a research-based social-emotional learning program designed to improve students' social-emotional skills, such as emotion management, impulse control, problem solving, and empathy. Second Step skills and concepts are designed to help students both in and out of school. These include:

Mindsets and Goals

Recognizing Bullying and Harassment

Thoughts, Emotions, and Decisions

Managing Relationships and Social Conflict

Your child will participate in this program each Wednesday during their Advisory period. It is our goal to ensure that this training supports all of our students and staff with common language, actions, and experiences. For more information, check out this Second Step overview video.

Our Dodge Ball Tournament Brings out the fun in everyone

Activities for students

Please encourage your child to participate in one of our many lunchtime offerings throughout the week. New additions include Chess Club, Christian Club, and a second day of Mrs. Paige's Game Club. A Speech and Debate Club is in the works as well. After school opportunities include Math Club, Science Olympiad, and MakerSpace. Building friendships while engaging with students with common interests is a skill our children will take with them to adulthood.
