Did you know that your body needs carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals to have a healthful diet? You can get this nutrients by eating beans, fish, eggs, bread, granola, stake, butter, tomatoes, grapes, bananas, milk, broccoli, and etc.. You need to have a balanced diet. It's okay if you have a sweet treat once in a while and in moderation. To have a balanced diet you might eat a cookie but then you should eat an apple after that to be healthful.
Food Labels and Pathogens
Food labels mark how much sugar, fat, carbohydrates, salt, and the serving size that you should eat of the food. This will help you know the right amount of food to eat and to plan a healthful meal. Food pathogens can get in your body easily and make you very sick. This can happen when a worker does not wash their hands and then touches food and sells the food. Food pathogens can travel from one food to another if you use a knife on two different foods and one of them has food pathogens. Then it will go to the other food and infect it also.
