Weekly News and Updates - Volume 2 Issue 29 - 4/8/22
Spring Is Here!
The spring we have been awaiting for the past two years is here. Last year at this time, we were barely welcoming a fraction our students back on campus with others still online at home. The pandemic was still raging and tensions were high. What progress we've made as a community in one year. Now masks are optional indoors and out. Physical distancing is a suggestion, not a requirement, and we can have events on campus again!
Our first small gathering, a dedication ceremony for our new school mural, will be next week on the 13th at 9:30AM. Families are welcome to attend. More info is below.
Then, on Thursday, April 28th we're hosting our first Open House in two years! The fun will start at 5:00PM. Families will have the opportunity to have coffee with the Principal, visit classroom showcases, and meet with community partners. More info is to be announced in coming weeks.
Spring pictures are this upcoming Monday, April 11th, as well! Our 5th graders will have their promotion pictures taken. Speaking of which, stay tuned for updates about our 5th grade promotion ceremony to take place on campus. Date/time to be announced soon!

spring will come."

Mural Dedication Ceremony on 4/13 at 9:30AM
This mural commemorates the rededication of the Fletcher campus to our students and is a celebration of growth through reemergence from the pandemic.
If you plan to attend in person, please RSVP no later than Monday April 11th at 4:00PM.

Student of the Week - Ajay!
This week's Student of the Week is Ajay in Mrs. Duncan's class. Ajay is a "One-derful" role model in 1st grade. He always has a smile on his face and a hand ready to help his friends. Ajay excels at school by working hard on his assignments and trying his hardest no matter how difficult a problem may be.
