Joe Shy Updates: Friday, April 5, 2019
All students park in PAC before school.
All students MUST come and go through the main entrance. Students will not be allowed to use the PAC entrance.
All non-track participants must have a prepaid ticket in hand to leave the school between the 7th and 8th hour bells. We will need teachers to report to the commons doors to watch those leaving and check for tickets before seventh hour bells. (7th period plan)
MRS. WILSON WILL HAVE ALL STUDENTS WHO WILL BE RELEASED EARLY MARKED IN SIS IN ADVANCE!
Sophomore class working the concession stand will leave at 12:30pm by intercom announcement – the list of workers will come from Mrs. Kelly on Wednesday, April 3rd! Check your emails!
Track athletes will be released between 6th and 7th periods-- the list of athletes will come from Mrs. Wilson on Wednesday, April 3rd! Check your emails!
All faculty working field events or announcing at the track meet need to take their seventh hour class to the commons after attendance is taken. – Dr. Watkins & Officer Lewis will supervise 7th period.
A list of students who will be working the track meet will be given to supervisors in the commons and released at 1:40pm to go help work field events that start at 2:00pm. Mr. Nagel will walk them up to the track.
All students will report to the commons at the beginning of 8th period.
All faculty that are back-up timers at the finish line need to report by 2:30pm to the finish line, running events start at 2:45pm.
Snacks and drinks for faculty working the event will be located on a table near the finish line.
All students not going to the track meet must stay in the commons until the 3:02pm bell. We will need all faculty not working the track meet to be in the commons as supervisors for this. If there is overflow, we may possibly utilize the gym with supervisors as well. All teachers & students left in the building should be in the commons at this time!
There will be an announcement made at the stadium at approximately 2:45pm to remind bus riders to return to the high school. Buses will run at their regular time.
All lunch shifts are normal and all students will go to Advisory as scheduled!
Go with the flow! Be firm while supervising but do not get stressed out about something that may arise (it will)! It is an abnormal hour or two for our kiddos! Some students cannot handle a change to their routine.
