A tsunami is a long high sea wave caused by an earthquake which took March 11 2011. The tsunami in japan was called a debris it took 231 miles northeast of japan at a depth of 15.2 miles and the waves were higher than 30 feet.
How is Canada Involved / why Canada is participating
Canada was participating in many ways such as sending doctors and other supplies for help of the ones who need help. It took place march 11 2011 at 2:46pm, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake takes place 231 miles of Tokyo. Canada gives five million dollars for supplies like brooms dust pans and such. 1900 lives were saved by Canada’s help in the problem of the tsunami
The tsunami cleanup
Japan was making a sigh up to help cleanup and making cleanup donations because they do not have what we have like brooms and such. Thousands from Tokyo were giving up their weekends and holidays to clean up the tsunami. People should help because if you don’t help than other people wound not help.
Tsunami effect on children?
The tsunami effected 378 deaths and 158 children missing. 236 children were orphaned from that tsunami the tsunami separated peoples families from them .Children can end up with mental and behavioral health problems from the stress and the fear. The stress and the fear of the parent losing their children.
Conclusion
Canada thought it could cost 3.00 billion dollars to fix the tsunami but the tsunami really cost 3.09 billion dollars. Till this day they are still building more buildings
