Milan
Milan is a city in Italy's northern Lombardy region. It is a global capital of fashion and design. Home to the national stock exchange. Milan has been a city for since 89 B.C. It has been a city ever since that time period. Milan has been in Italy for the fashion and basically if you want to go to Milan you are going to spend money and have a good time with family and friends. The Romans named the city of Milan after the first Emperor.
Milan Towns
As you can see in the photo above this is a map. A map of Milan and the middle east. Milan is in the area that is inside the yellow line. The main towns that are still standing today are Rome, Napoli, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, London. The rest of the towns just got destroyed in battle or people just wanted to move away from there.
Ruler
The first ruler of Milan was Muzio Attendolo. He was the founder of the house of Sforza. The Sforza family was the first family tradition to reach Milan and were the first rulers of Milan.

Importance of the Milan
Milan was important to the renaissance because it was a attraction. People from different towns were coming to Milan to check out all of the site seeing landmarks that the city provided. Milan was a very rich and powerful city. Thanks to Francisco Sforza who was the ruler and very rich. Also, there was Leonardo de Vinci who was also very popular because of his famous pantings. It was Milan were Leonardo staged the Last Supper. In the dinning hall in the monastery complex of the fifteenth century.
