Classes are designed around interdisciplinary hands-on, minds-on projects (English, HSS, Math, and Science) connected to key industry/community partners in San Diego. Dear Mann families:

San Diego Unified has partnered with UC San Diego to provide FREE COVID-19 testing at every school campus for all of our students. Testing is an important part of our district’s plan to protect our community from the spread of coronavirus.

Our school’s scheduled testing day is every other Monday, 11-1 until the last day of school, June 15th.

Participating in this free COVID-19 test requires parent consent. If you would like your child to be tested every other Monday , please follow these TWO steps. You only need to complete this process one time.

Step 1. Select the link for your child’s school and schedule an appointment. After you select a time, you can sign into your current UCSD MyChart account or you can check in as a Guest. If you do not have a UCSD MyChart account you can create an account. Please note: test results will be sent directly to the UCSD MyChart accounts.

Step 2. Complete TWO forms either online or via paper copy: Consent Form and Release of Information(ROI)

  • ONLINE Form: Fill out the forms electronically via DocuSign:

Consent and ROI Form (English) | Consent and ROI Form (Spanish)

  • PAPER Copy: Download the forms and return to the health office. You may pick up a paper copy from the school site.

  1. Consent Form (English) | Consent Form (Spanish)

  2. Release of Information Form (English) | Release of Information Form (Spanish)

After following these two steps, UCSD will automatically schedule follow up testing appointments every two weeks during our school’s assigned time: Monday, May 10 or May 24 11-1.

Testing is optional. If you would like to learn more about the COVID-19 test, you can read more information here.

If you have questions, please reach out to Tracy Busbin
