Few things in life are more foundational than RELATIONSHIPS. They govern our homes, our churches, our neighborhoods, our studies, our conversations, even our thinking!
Join us this summer as we “reason together”, exploring the principles of clear thinking and learning how rightly relating our thoughts and ideas can bring glory to God, peace to our homes, grace to our conversations, and wisdom to our thoughts.
Our 3-Day Practicum offers fellowship as we pursue deeper understanding of how to homeschool our students in the classical Christian tradition. We think about the characteristics of learners at every age, and we ponder ways to give our students the foundation they need to become life-long learners and deep thinkers. This summer, Practicum 2017 will help us identify opportunities for using logic in our everyday lives, and help us map out the baby steps we can take with our students to lead them toward the practice of clear thinking.
Practicum is free for parents to attend - invite your friends, your spouse, grandparents... anyone that you think is interested in classical education, homeschooling, or is currently involved in CC.
Children's camps are available all three days for a fee - camps fill up quickly - sign up soon! Teen volunteer opportunities available too!
If you are a tutor - don't forget to sign up for your Foundations/Essentials training.

More information about the McBrides:
The McBride’s are an amazing couple from England who answered the call to ministry by moving to Kunming, China, and working as members of the Sunrise Foundation. They work tirelessly in the infant room at the Kunming orphanage caring for dozens of special needs children and serving the orphanage care-givers. The McBride’s also assist children as they age out of the orphanage system at 14 and transition back into mainstream society. They provide support as they finish education, acquire social and life skills, and secure gainful employment. Their outpouring of love to the children, workers, and young adults eventually leads to opportunities where they can share the Gospel with those around them.
While in China, Nic and Sarah welcomed their firstborn child, Ayla. Soon afterward, they felt led to adopt one of the many children that are in the national orphanage system, and they welcomed Seren into their family. Currently, Nic and Sarah are in process to adopt again.
