All was easy for John
until King Charles I came along then everything changed
John had to make a decision and quickly, for if he did not he might end up in a bad place. King Charles I and his Anti-Puritan policy was tempting John to leave for a better life somewhere he wouldn't be persecuted for his practices. John's decision to emigrate to America would be an important one, a part of early American history. John would come to colonize his vision, Boston"the city upon a hill" which would be one of his greatest achievements. The Massachusetts colony's most beloved man, John would be chosen as governor 12 times. Although his life in America wasn't easy, it would be well worth it, for John would be the Colony's role model. For in his time he would have to make tough decisions that would play a part in his time as a role model for the colony.
