EDUCATOR FOR A DAY
Team Colleton sponsored the Educator for a Day Initiative on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Each school in our district hosted a participant from our business community. The Educator for a Day Initiative allows school leaders and the business community to share ideas, resources, and a sense of responsibility for public education. The program gives business and community partners a first-hand perspective of daily decisions and responsibilities.

What is a hurricane?
The Children's Museum of the Lowcountry and Colleton County School District have partnered for the 2022-2023 school year in a grade 4 science program. Each month an educator from the museum visits our 4th graders to teach a hands on science class. This month they learned about hurricanes.
