- Teaching Cards (1 per anchor text)
- Teacher's Guide
- Access to Digital Resources Website

Middle School Mentors Reading Program with STEM Stories (6-8)
Participating Middle School teachers will receive an Every Day Book Box for which ever grade they are choosing to partner with. Everyday Book Box features five 50-book collections of leveled fiction and nonfiction titles. Each box includes 50 individual titles and 1 CD filed with Black Line masters for in-class activities. With no title overlap between collections these sets are ideal for English language learners or for expanding your classroom library!
The CMSD Fab Lab will also work with the teachers to facilitate a hands-on STEAM learning experience with the Middle School and Elementary students to complete together.
Fab with Scholastic News (PreK-12)

Have you already borrowed a 3D printer or Vinyl cutter from the Fab Lab but need more filament or vinyl? Would you like to stop by and say 'Hi' and see what we've got going on?!
Wednesday February 9th from 3-5pm
Only 5 teachers are allowed to be in the EPC STEM Lab at once. Please use the link below to sign up for a time slot.
The EPC STEM Lab is in room 204 of the East Professional Center
Fab Lab Training, at your own Pace
You can complete virtual introductions to 3D printing and or Vinyl Cutting at your own pace! Each training will cover the ins and outs of the technology and how it can be used in your classroom and receive a simple introduction to Silhouette Studio, a free software you and your students can use to create projects of your own.
You can watch a recording of an intro Zoom session and then work through a set of 'homework activities' before coming into the EPC Fab Lab and to set up a 3D printer or Vinyl cutter to borrow for your own classroom.
Click here to register for either event.
Please let Sarah Wallace know if you have any specific questions.
